IT Platform Engineer - Digital Workplace IT Office

The Devops teams within Digital Workplace work with full focus on achieving this within their domain. The team you would be working in is responsible for different types of hardware in the branches/offices worldwide. We support hybrid way of working by enabling and supporting Audio/Visual tooling. Also we are responsible for printing & scanning and physical phonesets and other hardeware that is being used by our customers in the branches.

Your job

You will be working in a nice DevOPs team. Together you ensure the continuity and optimisation of the products of the IT Office Devices and Support team so that customers and colleagues can make easily make use of these products. Security and continous improvements are always on top of mind, as is user experience. In order to achieve that you use device management tooling to make sure that the products are safe to use and are always available.  

You take care of automated monitoring and updates;  

You are capable to pro-actively manage incidents, problems and incidents.  

You are engaged to improve existing IT office devices and implement new solutions 

You work together with the teammembers, other teams and share knowledge.

Working environment

Digital Workplace manages laptops, printers, Audio/visual tooling, other hardware products and accessories both in the office and at home. We deliver specific and special IT support in the branch offices. We deliver functional tooling like the Microsoft 365 suite, Windows, etc. which enables colleagues to work together in a very seamless way.  

 

We monitor our devices and collect data which gives us input pro-actively for improvement of the working of the devices and avoid issues. A good Employee Experience is one of our key drivers and this is why we actively ask our colleagues for feedback about our products via a short survey’s and other channels to become a little better every day. We work closely together with HR and Workplace Management to determine the future of our workplace, both physical and digital.  

 

Digital Workplace supports employees in their digital savviness by hosting games, knowledge articles and other learning bites like Digital Fit. We work hybrid; you choose where and when you work, obviously in agreement with your team. Together we work on our mission: “Seamless collaboration any time & any place”.  

In our grid we work Agile and DevOps. Within IT Office Devices and Support, every team member takes part in our scrum activities like daily’s, reviews and retrospectives. Our ambition is to deliver safe, sustainable and fit-for-purpose IT office devices.  

Your profile

You enjoy open and transparent communication, co-operation with colleagues and care for colleagues in your team. You are able to work independently, but also enjoy sharing your knowledge and learning from others in order to improve everyones skills and together become better engineers.   

You are capable to technically manage our products and develop new solutions. You are capable to document your work and adopt existing knowledge. You are committed and eager to learn. You are good in English in both word and writing.   

 

We are looking for the following skills: 

  • Education: secondary vocational education (MBO) or higher 
  • Microsoft Intune technical (Autopilot, software deployment)
  • Basic knowledge Powershell Scripting 
  • IT Hardware Products technical experience (Desktops, iPads, Teams telephones, MTR, audiovisual devices) in managing via Azure and Intune 
  • Microsoft O365 and platform (Creating and managing MTR resource accounts and Exchange accounts and troubleshooting skills) 
  • Knowledge and experience in creation and deployment of packages via SCCM and Intune
